Kishu juniperus or Chinese Kishu juniper is a dwarf form of the Chinese Juniper and reaches only a maximum height of 1 meter. Its fine foliage is denser and finer than the normal shimpaku juniper. It will likely shed interior foliage as the temperatures start to heat up (yellowing growth), which is a normal process for it to shed weaker foliage in favour of stronger external foliage to help offset over-transpiration.

☀️: Medium to bright indirect sunlight is ideal for the plant’s growth.
🌱: Rich, moist, well-drained soil.
🚿: Water the plant at least once per day.
👩🏻🌾: Fertilize lightly during the growing season.
: After the first pruning, it will flush a second time. Allow this secondary flush to elongate again for six to eight weeks, then prune again. Repeated this process throughout the growing season as needed to create a full, well-developed bonsai in a short period of time.
