  • Description
  • Brighamia insignis or called as hawaiian palm is a special “endemic” houseplant which means only occurring in a certain area. The way of growth is like a palm tree, it makes new leaves in the head and repels the old lower leaves. It will produce small yellow flowers. In highly varying conditions, it repels a lot of leaves at once (it will be up again in a few weeks).

    Secret of success:
    - Provide a bright indirect location.
    Requires well-drained soil.
    - Water once the soil dries out. The trunk acts as a water reservoir.
    - Fertilise monthly during the growing season.

     Pot diameter: 21cm
Plant height: 60cm (incl. pot height)

  • Plant Care Tips
  • Potting soil should be kept moist, but not wet. Of course, there are always exceptions — succulents, and other thick-leafed plants do best when the soil dries out between watering. If the soil is kept too dry or too damp the plant’s roots will begin to die, which can lead to inadequate growth or even death of the plant.

Here are the 5 ways to check whether your plants is dehydrated and need water.
