  • Description
  • Muscari or common grape hyacinth is related to common hyacinth but is from different genus. Common hyacinth has star-shaped and open fully blooms, while muscari has tight blooms in a raceme that resemble clusters of grapes. They are happy to grow in sun to almost full shade.

    Pot diameter: 9cm

Plant height: 20cm (Included pot height)

    Secret of success:
: A cool spot in bright indirect sunlight in the home encourages the best, longer lasting blooms. Rotate the plants as it will lean toward sunlight.
: Prefer moist but well-drained soil.
: Allow soil to slightly dry in between waterings.

: The bulbs contain plenty of stored nutrients for the leaves and flowers which makes fertilizer unnecessary.

: As soon as the flowers fade, cut them back with scissors, leaving the stems to nourish the bulb. Apply a layer of compost in the fall and if they sprout leaves in the fall.

  • Plant Care Tips
  • Potting soil should be kept moist, but not wet. Of course, there are always exceptions — succulents, and other thick-leafed plants do best when the soil dries out between watering. If the soil is kept too dry or too damp the plant’s roots will begin to die, which can lead to inadequate growth or even death of the plant.

Here are the 5 ways to check whether your plants is dehydrated and need water.
