  • Light

A cool location with bright, indirect sunlight is ideal for promoting longer-lasting blooms. To ensure balanced growth, rotate the plant regularly, as it tends to lean toward the light source.

  • Soil

Use well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter.

  • Water Requirement

Allow soil to slightly dry in between waterings. Overwatering can lead to bulb rot.

  • Temperature

Ideal growing temperatures are between 15℃ to 30℃.

  • Humidity

Prefers moderate humidity, usually between 40-50%.

  • Fertilizer

The bulbs are packed with sufficient stored nutrients to support the growth of leaves and flowers, eliminating the need for additional fertilizer.

  • Caution

As soon as the flowers fade, cut them back with scissors, leaving the stems to nourish the bulb. Apply a layer of compost in the fall and if they sprout leaves in the fall.
