Ficus elastica ruby has a gentle pink and glowing red tint on its glossy leaves. Its unique tri-coloured variegation requires brighter light conditions than the burgundy variety to keep the colours strong and defined.

Secret of success:
: Bright indirect sunlight will explode its colour. Intense direct sunlight might burn the leaves.
: Well-drained soil.
: Water thoroughly when soil is dry.
: Fertilize lightly during the growing season.
: Rotate the plant occasionally as the plant will tend to bend and reach towards the light.
