Zamia furfuracea is commonly known as the cardboard palm or Mexican cycad. The plant has a tropical and palm-like appearance but is not a true palm. It features a thick, woody trunk covered in old leaf bases, which gives it a coarse and rugged texture, resembling cardboard. The leaves are long, pinnate, and feather-like with numerous leaflets arranged along the stem.

Secret of success:
☀️: It prefers bright indirect sunlight and can tolerate some direct morning sunlight. Intense afternoon sunlight may scorch the leaves.
🌱: Well-drained potting mix to prevent waterlogged.
🚿: Allow soil to dry out in between watering.
💦: Prefers higher humidity levels, but it can adapt to normal indoor humidity levels too.

- If the preserved flower is stained by the dust, you can clean the preserved flower with the blower blowing softly 20cm away from the flower.
- Temperature changes should be avoided to prevent humidity which could affect your blossoms.
