Trim the Stems: Cut 1–2 cm off the stems at a 45° angle using clean scissors or a knife. This helps the flowers absorb water better.

Use Clean Water & Flower Food: Place flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh water. If flower food is provided, mix it according to the instructions. You can also purchase flower food to help your flowers last longer.

Change Water Regularly: Replace the water every 1–2 days. Rinse the vase and re-trim the stems each time to keep bacteria away.

Remove Wilted Parts: Remove any leaves below the waterline and discard wilted petals or flowers to maintain freshness.

Choose the Right Spot: Keep flowers in a cool, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, fans, air-conditioning vents, and ripening fruits.

Refresh When Needed: If flowers start to droop, re-trim the stems and change the water to revive them.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low-light conditions. However, variegated varieties need more light to maintain their patterns.

Soil: Prefers well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0-7.8). Standard potting mix with perlite or sand works well.

Temperature: Ideal growing temperatures are between 18℃ to 27℃. English ivy does not do well in extreme heat or cold.

Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity.

Fertiliser: Fertilize with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.

Caution: Prune regularly to encourage bushier growth and to control its size. Trim back leggy growth to maintain a full appearance. Ivy can be prone to leaf spot, root rot, or mildew if overwatered or grown in overly humid conditions without good airflow.
