《玉柳仙人掌》
Rhipsalis paradoxa minor is a smaller and more delicate variety of the Rhipsalis paradoxa species, also known as chain cactus. It’s an epiphytic cactus that naturally grows in tropical rainforests, often found hanging from tree branches. Like its larger counterpart, this species is native to Central and South America. It has smaller, thinner stems compared to the regular Rhipsalis paradoxa. The stems are segmented and form a chain-like, trailing pattern, making it ideal for hanging baskets or as a trailing plant in pots.
The stems are light to bright green, sometimes taking on a reddish hue when exposed to strong light. Small, white, or creamy flowers appear on the plant, usually along the segments, followed by tiny, spherical, translucent berries. This plant has a trailing or cascading growth habit, with the stems growing several feet long if allowed to mature.
