《瓶子草》
Sarracenia is commonly known as pitcher plants or trumpet pitchers. It has a very carnivorous and “alive” look and having blood red vein markings on the pitchers. Colourful pitchers and nectar around the lip can attract the insects, insects will fall into the large hollow pitcher tubes and find it impossible to climb back out due to the fine downwards pointing hairs. The insects will slowly digest by the plant to provide nutrient for further growth.
