The plant has long, glossy, dark green leaves that are large and banana-like in shape. The most distinctive feature of Strelitzia alba is its flowers, which are white or cream-colored with a subtle blue tint. Strelitzia alba can grow to impressive heights, reaching up to 2-3 meters outdoors, but tends to stay more compact when grown indoors. It has a slow growth rate but is known for its long-lasting blooms.
