  • Light

    Bright, indirect light is ideal, avoid direct sun as it may scorch the leaves.

  • Soil

    Use a well-draining soil.

  • Water Requirement

    Keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy. Water when the soil is dry. Alocasias are sensitive to overwatering as it may cause root rot as a biggest threat.

  • Temperature

    Keep it at a warm place around 18–27°C.

  • Humidity

    60–80% humidity is ideal.

  • Fertilizer

    Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. NPK ratio: 10-10-10, 20-20-20, or even a gentle 5-5-5. Every 4 weeks 1 time.

  • Caution

    Never fertilize dry soil make sure to water the plant first if the soil is dry. Fertilizer can be apply during watering so it spreads evenly.
