Angelonia, often called Summer Snapdragon, is a sun-loving perennial known for its upright spikes of small, fragrant flowers that resemble miniature snapdragons. Blooming continuously through warm seasons, it adds long-lasting color to gardens and arrangements. Native to Central and South America, Angelonia thrives in tropical and subtropical climates.

  • Light

    Needs full sunlight at least 6 hours daily to bloom continuously. Too little light can cause fewer flowers and slow growth.

  • Soil

    Use well-draining, fertile soil can mix perlite or coarse sand to improve drainage for potted plants.

  • Water Requirement

    Keep soil slightly moist, can be water 2-3 times a week especially when its in hot weather. Only water when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry to avoid over-watering.

  • Temperature

    Best growth between 20–32°C.

  • Humidity

    Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues

  • Fertilizer

    Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer (NPK 10-10-10) every 2–3 weeks during growing, do not over-fertilizing as it will cause more leaves and fewer blooms instead.
