Poinsettia or also known as Euphorbia Pulcherrima is a well-known Christmas ornamental with the presence of milk sap in the stems and leaves. It has large colourful leaves and tiny yellow berry-like structures flowers. Poinsettia change colour when the days get shorter.

Tips for reblooming:
- It requires excluding light from the plant for a period of time while keeping the plant healthy.
-The reduction in light prevents the plant from producing chlorophyll and changes the bract to red, pink, or white (depends on the variety).

Secret of success:
- Prefer bright indirect sunlight to partial shade.
- Well-drained soil.
- Water thoroughly when soil is almost dry.
- Fertilize lightly during the growing season.
- Keep away from draughts (no fireplace, open doorways, open windows or breezy hallways). It may start to lose its leaves if it is too draughty.
