Ceropegia sandersonii, commonly known as the Parachute Plant or Umbrella Plant, is a unique, trailing succulent native to southern Africa. It’s admired for its eye-catching, parachute-shaped flowers and vining growth habit.
The leaves are small, heart-shaped, and succulent, typically a deep green color. The leaves grow along thin, trailing stems, making it an ideal plant for hanging baskets or as a climbing vine on trellises. The most striking feature is its unusual, funnel-shaped flowers. These are pale green with darker green veins and resemble small parachutes or umbrellas.
Always display dried flowers indoors, to keep them protected from the elements.
Keep your dried flowers away from direct sunlight, areas of bright light and away from humidity.
Sprinkling water or perfume can cause damage
Avoid crushing, pressing or folding flower.
If the preserved flower is stained by the dust, you can clean the preserved flower with the blower blowing softly 20cm away from the flower.
Temperature changes should be avoided to prevent humidity which could affect your blossoms.

Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to scorch, while too little light can slow growth and inhibit flowering.
Soil
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Can also improve drainage by adding perlite or sand to standard potting soil.
Water Requirement
Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. As a succulent, it stores water in its leaves, so overwatering can lead to root rot.
Temperature
Ideal growing temperatures are between 18℃ to 27℃. Do not do well in extreme heat and should be protected from temperatures above 27°C.
Humidity
It tolerates average household humidity but prefers a dry environment.
Fertilizer
Fertilise lightly during the growing season.
Caution
Regular pruning can help manage the plant’s size and encourage a fuller, bushier appearance. Trim back leggy stems to maintain a compact shape. Overwatering can cause root rot, so ensure proper drainage.
