Adenium, commonly known as the desert rose, is a popular ornamental plant admired for its stunning flowers, unique swollen trunk, and striking appearance. It is a succulent shrub or small tree that originates from regions in Africa and Middle East.

It has glossy, oblong leaves that are typically arranged in spirals. The plant has a thick, bulbous trunk that stores water, allowing it to survive in arid conditions. The caudex (swollen base) gives the plant a bonsai-like appearance, making it a popular choice among collectors.

Symbolism:

  • Resilience & survival
  • Beauty in adversity
  • Strength & stability
  • Enduring love & passion

  • Caution

Prune the plant to encourage branching and create a fuller shape.
