Fresh-Cut Flower Care Tips

Here are some simple tips to help keep fresh cut flowers fresh:

  • Keep them away from sunlight or any heat source.
  • Give the stems a diagonal trim and place them in clean, cool water. 
  • Change the water every 2-3 days.
  • Make sure you remove any leaves that are beneath the water line.

Dried/Preserved Flower Care Tips

  • IMPORTANT: Dried flowers DO NOT NEED WATER.
  • Always display dried flowers indoors, to keep them protected from the elements.
  • Keep your dried flowers away from direct sunlight, areas of bright light and away from humidity.
  • Sprinkling water or perfume can cause damage
  • Avoid crushing, pressing or folding flower.
  • If the preserved flower is stained by the dust, you can clean the preserved flower with the blower blowing softly 20cm away from the flower.
  • Temperature changes should be avoided to prevent humidity which could affect your blossoms.

Plant Care Guide for Fuchsia P150《倒挂金钟》

  • Light

    Thrives in partial shade or filtered sunlight. Direct sun, especially during the hottest part of the day, can scorch the leaves and reduce blooming. Do best in locations that receive morning sun and afternoon shade.

  • Soil

    Use light, well-draining soil mix.

  • Water Requirement

    Requires moderate watering. Keep the growing medium consistently moist.

  • Temperature

    Ideal growing temperatures are between 15℃ to 24℃. Do not do well in extreme heat and should be protected from temperatures above 27°C.

  • Humidity

    It does well in high humidity.

  • Fertilizer

    Fuchsias are heavy feeders, especially when flowering. Apply a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season to encourage continuous blooming.

  • Caution

    Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage new blooms and prevent the plant from going to seed. Regularly pinch back the growing tips of young plants to encourage bushier growth and more flowers.
