《柠檬杆》
Lemon tree (Citrus limon) is small evergreen trees native to Asia, specifically known for their bright, tangy fruit. It has highly valued for their fruit, which is used in a wide range of culinary and household applications. Lemon tree is often grown in warm climates or indoors in pots, where it can be pruned to maintain a manageable size.
It is small to medium-sized, typically growing to 10-20 feet (3-6 meters) outdoors but can be kept smaller when grown in containers. They have glossy, dark green, oval leaves, and their branches may have sharp thorns. The tree produces fragrant white or pink flowers, which are essential for fruit development. Lemon tree also produces yellow, oval-shaped lemons with a thick rind and juicy, acidic flesh. Lemons can be harvested multiple times a year, depending on the variety and growing conditions. Lemon takes several months to mature. It is ready for harvest when they turn a bright yellow and feel slightly soft to the touch. Twist or cut the fruit from the branch, avoiding damage to the plant.
Lemon tree is self-pollinating, meaning they don’t require another tree to produce fruit. However, hand-pollination (using a small brush to transfer pollen between flowers) can help increase fruit production, especially when grown indoors where pollinators like bees are not present.
