Ctenanthe burle-marxii, commonly known as the Fishbone Prayer Plant, is a tropical plant from the Marantaceae family, native to Brazil. The plant has elongated, oval leaves with a distinctive, fishbone-like pattern of dark green veins against a lighter green background. The underside of the leaves is often a purplish-red, adding to its visual appeal. Like other player plants, its leaves move throughout the day, folding upwards at night and unfurling during the day.
