Ulmus pumila, commonly known as the Siberian Elm, is a species of elm tree native to Asia, particularly regions in Siberia, Mongolia, and parts of China. The tree typically grows to 9 to 15 meters in height, with a spread of about 9 meters. It has a fast growth rate and a relatively narrow, upright shape when young, but it may become broader with age. The leaves are ovate with serrated edges, and are typically green in color, turning yellow in the fall. It is a deciduous tree known for its hardiness and adaptability to various environmental conditions.
