Kalanchoe is a succulent perennial with scallop-shaped leaves and umbels of flowers clusters that extend above the foliage. It is a slow grower and taking two to five years to reach mature size. The blooms are available in pretty shades of red, pink, yellow and white.
The bloom cycle is triggered by a motion where the plant receives 14 hours of darkness each day for about 6 weeks. It is a popular houseplant due to its attractive, long-lasting flowers and easy-care requirements.
Always display dried flowers indoors, to keep them protected from the elements.
Keep your dried flowers away from direct sunlight, areas of bright light and away from humidity.
Sprinkling water or perfume can cause damage
Avoid crushing, pressing or folding flower.
If the preserved flower is stained by the dust, you can clean the preserved flower with the blower blowing softly 20cm away from the flower.
Temperature changes should be avoided to prevent humidity which could affect your blossoms.
