Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) is a popular plant known for its vibrant, colorful bracts that make it a symbol of the holiday season, particularly Christmas. It presents with the milk sap in the stems and leaves. Native to Mexico, the true flowers are the small yellow or greenish structures at the center of the bracts, called cyathia.
Poinsettia has large, dark green leaves that provide a beautiful contrast to its colorful bracts. The bracts come in a range of colors, including red, pink, white, cream, and even marbled varieties.
Post care:
After the Christmas, poinsettias can be maintained and even rebloom the following year. Once the bracts fade, prune the plant back to about 6 inches to promote new growth.
To encourage blooming again, reduce light exposure starting in late September or October. Poinsettias need 14 hours of darkness each day for about 6-8 weeks to develop new bracts. Cover the plant or place it in a dark room during this period.
Always display dried flowers indoors, to keep them protected from the elements.
Keep your dried flowers away from direct sunlight, areas of bright light and away from humidity.
Sprinkling water or perfume can cause damage
Avoid crushing, pressing or folding flower.
If the preserved flower is stained by the dust, you can clean the preserved flower with the blower blowing softly 20cm away from the flower.
Temperature changes should be avoided to prevent humidity which could affect your blossoms.

Plant Care Guide for Poinsettia - Ice Crystal《圣诞红》
Light
Thrive in bright, indirect light. Place them near a sunny window but avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the leaves to scorch. Can survive fully indoors, but long-term insufficient light will cause the plant to weaken and may cause leaf drop.
Soil
Use a well-draining, light potting mix.
Water Requirement
Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering.
Temperature
Ideal growing temperatures are between 18℃ to 24℃. Avoid placing the plant near drafts, heaters, or cold windows. Sudden changes in temperature can cause the leaves to drop.
Humidity
Prefer moderate to high humidity and a stable environment.
Fertilizer
Fertilize poinsettias monthly with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season.
Caution
Overwatering can lead to root rot or other fungal issues, so ensure the plant is properly drained.
